Apulski,

No disrespect intended, but I do apologize as I think my post was little coarser than I intended it to be. As Duqduke mentioned, I was addressing a much broader audience with my Luke Fabrizius post. I place most people in two camps when it comes to Jack; those who assume he will man the post immediately and those who expect him to be an oversized 3. The way I read your post, it sounded like you lean to the later and I suppose I was addressing everyone with that opinion not just you. Since I quoted you, I can understand why you would think I was attacking you. Again not my intention.

I'd like to rap that up in this thread since this is a conversation about 2013 picks and we've gotten off course. I'll open a new thread to discuss where the rebounds will come from.

Steve, I have the up-most respect for you and generally find your observations to be astute and well-thought out. However, I mistook your general points-response as a mean-spirited misrepresentation of the point I was trying to make. I deeply apologize for my sarcasm, you deserve better. I will learn from my mistake and make every attempt to avoid duplicating it in future discussions.
Perhaps I can make my original point more clear. Personally, I think Donovan Jack is one of the best all-around recruits we have signed since I can't remember when. I have attended five of his games and will assure you--he is for real. I think he could play for us now (opinion). Donovan has a nice all-around game but my feeling is that we still need another role player on this team--a pure rebounder. I feel confident in saying that all of us (dyed-in-the-wool Dukes' fans) have become frustrated in being out rebounded by almost every team. We may have won enough games to have made a difference this year, had we been able to rebound. I'd just like to see that addressed.
Steve, again, please forgive my previous response. You are a true Duquesne gentleman.

Steve, I feel like I  must have missed out on something. Who is Luke Fabrizius and how did his name come up during our conversatiion about Jack?

He's a 6'9'' senior for dayton who has been pretty notorious for only shooting three's. I've never seen him play in the post and think tj and sean are better rebounders than he is.
