I wanted at least 9-2 in non-conference, 7-11 in conference and a win in the conference tourney, to show progress from last year. So 17-14. I thought that was achieveable this year. Instead we're 3-5 now and neither of these next two teams coming in are pushovers. Both have already won at Fordham. UML beat NJIT twice, UMES gave SFC a much tougher battle than we did and on the road no less. Based on tonight's performance, I'd have to say the next two games will likely be losses as well. Tonight's box score looks a lot like the box scores of two years ago, i.e, Colter and not much else. So I think double-digit wins is too optimistic right now. Maybe things will change, but this is a pretty disturbing level of ineptitude. Ferry might as well start playing the walk-ons, they can't be much worse.
