Stevens is a double edged sword for this team offensively. An example would be his ability to create his own shot and get to the rim gave us a shot to comeback vs pitt then a few selfish shots swung momentum and shot us out of it. Certainly the we've noticed his lack of passing for a while now, but credit where credit is due today as he certainly racked up the assists and did a nice job finding the bigs rolling to the rim, particularly Jordan Robinson.

By far best we've seen from Jordan Robinson in only 14 minutes. The memory I have of his scoring was slipping to the rim and catching in traffic and finishing strong.

Definitely better ball movement today as guys were making the extra pass and finding guys in transition for open looks and crowd pleasing plays.

UMass-L is a terrible offensive team but at least they were held to 40 some points before the walk-ons came on and UM-L kept their regulars in.

It's been a rough month for the Dukes, so I'll take any win at this point and this one felt good because they controlled the game and the play of Domo and Micah was more of what we expected to see this season.

--Sort of an aside: I don't want to use this to justify losing Wednesday night because win/lose the effort was totally unacceptable but I think by the end of the year we may look back and consider the RMU loss worse than St Francis as the Red Flash won at Rutgers today (yes I know they're bad too). The Red Flash right now are projected to win the NEC regular season with by far the best Adjusted D on KenPom. I know they are one of the few schools that we can say "We own" but I think they're better than NJIT and RMU. How we got beat by them is another story.
