Rog I'm sorry I need to take issue with your comments on Robinson's defense. He like every other Dukes player fell for a ball fake that resulted in a slam dunk. He was able to muscle with Myers, the easy hoops Myers got while Jordan was on him resulted in his leaving him to help, maybe unwisely, and no one than coming over to support. I suggested on this board a week or so ago a starting 5 of Stevens, Powell, McKoy, Robinson and either Colter or Mason. In 9 minutes of play Robinson 4 points, 4 rebounds and assist. In 39 minutes J Jones had 9 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assist. I have no idea what this staff is doing but I can say the coaching is very questionable. I understand the last win was against a weak opponent but how can Robinsons performance in that game not translate into more time. I will also agree that this team shows no conscience with shots and there seems to be no consequences to taking them. I stand by Stevens as a viable PG but with no constraints I would also like to tackle him. How can he be the same person that dished out 7 assists last game and is near the team leadership in assist in about half the playing time of Colter and Mason. How do you go a entire half without a foul shoot and 7 for the game. If all this staff wants to have is a team chucking 3's then start 5 guards. With Robinson help we got within 4 I believe and instead of running a set of some sort we throw up two consecutive 3's with maybe one pass. I believe there is far more talent than last year but the coaching and inability to find the right players is deplorable!!! Let me pose a question has anyone seen Ferry make a substitution and then address the player with whatever coaching is needed as he leaves the court and for that matter how many times has a assistant done so. Sorry I'm done.
