We heard all last year that Robinson was a key recruit. He doesn't even play until the second half and from listening to the game, and talking to a buddy who did go, he made a big difference when he did get in there. He is physical and athletic, had a couple hoops and was a presence underneath. I think this all points to JF not recognizing or playing to his strengths. J. Jones shouldn't be playing as much as he does and Gill has regressed and has given them nothing. The Coach is responsible for recognizing who plays well together and who should be playing. I see more talent on this team, but JF isn't playing the best players or the right combination of them. Guys this is on him and his 5 assistants!!!
Agree 100%. Your 2 bigs go 4-4 from the floor, but no one looks to get them the ball.

Robinson has been more athletic than I expected but he's anything but physical. When that part of his game develops he could be a real beast. It's not there yet and I suspect it's why he hasn't played a lot . That said, he's showing enough in other parts of his game that he might just be ready for a bigger role.

Jeremiah and Micah have a nice chemistry. Probably found Mason for half his shots. I like them on the floor together. The alternative is Eric James and I think that Jeremiah is finally figuring out a lot of the things James is still learning. Jones's shot selection is better as is determining when to drive and when not to. That said, when they went small I would have preferred James out there over Stevens by a country mile. They were missing a second body who could rebound.

I've said before as have others that Powell and Stevens have chemistry. I think they played about three minutes together tonight.

A big part of Ferry's offense is off the pick and role. Only Stevens when he's pass first seems to hit them. The interior passing on this team needs to get better and I think it will when Castro turns up and if Stevens gets balanced.
