Rog I'm sorry I need to take issue with your comments on Robinson's defense. He like every other Dukes player fell for a ball fake that resulted in a slam dunk. He was able to muscle with Myers, the easy hoops Myers got while Jordan was on him resulted in his leaving him to help, maybe unwisely, and no one than coming over to support.

Let me pose a question has anyone seen Ferry make a substitution and then address the player with whatever coaching is needed as he leaves the court and for that matter how many times has a assistant done so. Sorry I'm done.

Yes I have seen Ferry on numerous occasions address the player as he's leaving.  I was sitting fairly close behind the bench at RMU and was able to lip-read Stevens once even saying "I know, I know" to what Ferry told him (which was presumably about shot selection given the circumstances).  It still hasn't helped his overall shot selection though...

You may be right on Robinson's defense being as bad as the rest of the teams.  I did see the going for shotfakes and what appeared to me to be extremely low 2-3 zone IQ however in what I have seen from him, and not just in today's game which I didn't see half of.  I'm hoping some of that is just freshman inexperience, but who knows.

James over Stevens for rebounding?  Stevens led the team in rebounds today....

4. Our new coach has brought us the fourth best basketball team in the area behind Pitt, Robert Morris and St. Francis and maybe La Roche and Point Park.

Don't ya know that Carnegie Mellon (8-0) is better than Point Park or La Roche and was one of only 16 unbeatens left in D3 going into today?  smiley: roll
