I find that article to be offensive. Actually, it is not an article, it is an op-ed piece. With an emphasis on the "op"

On what planet is getting fired, publicly humiliated, and having your reputation tarnished in the press the "best thing that could happen" to somebody? I find it doubly offensive that you took wording from what was supposed to be a confidential memo (that was "accidentally" leaked to the press) and quote from it as if it is indisputable fact. RE is helping to do at WVU exactly what he was hoping to do at Duquesne. Its just that now he has the administrative and financial support that he didn't receive at Duquesne.

Last year, you blamed the poor performance of the team on RE. What percentage is he responsible for this year? Ferry's performance thus far has been terrible whether he followed RE or Edgar or Porter or Nee. You stated that "very few" A10 teams could have passed through the murderer's row of NJIT, Robert Morris (without two starters), St. Francis, and UMES unscathed. How many teams would have gone 0-4, with three of those losses at home? You have done nothing but attempt to justify ex-post-facto a firing/hiring that has set us back almost 10 years.

I still support Duquesne basketball and hope that Ferry can coach his way out of this mess. You are not being patient. You are looking at the present with rose-colored glasses and you continue to look at the past with prejudice. Leave RE alone. You've kicked him plenty.

As far as my reading of the Yuku board and any of your blogs, consider yourself fired. I'm sure that its the best thing that could happen to you.
