I'm trying to look at the glass as being half full but....
Can you name 1 player who didn't contribute significantly during their freshman year under Everhart but did contribute in ensuing years. Under his system, you either contribute immediately or find another school.
I don't think Wright has played competitive basketball in a year and a half which indicates to me that the additional weight may not all be muscle.
I would love to see Wright thrive at Duquesne but the last scouting report I had on him (April, 2009) had far more negatives than positives. He only discovered basketball in 8th grade and is athletic but very raw. He has a lot to learn, yet lost a year plus the summer season. He will have little time to adapt to the faster game. He needs to add strength. He needs a rigorous fall program provided by the coaches as well senior leaders to ensure he follows it as well as juggling academics.
