Great article from Steve Uhlman on how mid majors (mostly Ohio) are taking advantage of the transfer market because the big fish don't swim as often in it. Wichita St and LaSalle are prime examples of schools to have ridden transfers all the way to NCAA tournament success. I used to hate the idea of JUCO's other than when a glaring need arose, but I think mid majors have greater access to more talented players than they would have gotten for 4 year players. I think Duquesne's beginning to take advantage of what can only be called a market anomaly that's correcting itself.
