Pooping the bed in the out of conference leads me to believe that we will be lucky to win 13 games again. Even if we win these last 2 out of conference we would need to win 7 A-10 games and from the talent/coaching disparity I think that is going to be a stretch. These teams have true point guards, big men playing the 5, shooters and athletes. And I don't want to hear about youth and guys not playing together anymore as an excuse. Hell, GW has this 6'7" Asian freshman who is a nice lanky lefty who can shoot and he played lots of minutes in crunch time for GW. Dayton lost 2 guys off their roster and hasn't missed a beat. From what I've seen we don't measure up to these better A-10 teams on any front. Don't want to be negative, just playing it real.

Maybe Richmond, because they have almost everyone back from the team that throttled us in the A10 tourney last year, that game's on the road and we never beat Richmond anyway. But otherwise, I think the Dukes will have a shot in at least 14 of 18 conference games this year. Breaking even in those 14 games seems doable to me. Of course, I was also expecting a 9-2 mark against the non-conference slate.

He doesn't even play until the second half and from listening to the game, and talking to a buddy who did go, he made a big difference when he did get in there. He is physical and athletic, had a couple hoops and was a presence underneath. I think this all points to JF not recognizing or playing to his strengths. J. Jones shouldn't be playing as much as he does and Gill has regressed and has given them nothing. The Coach is responsible for recognizing who plays well together and who should be playing. I see more talent on this team, but JF isn't playing the best players or the right combination of them. Guys this is on him and his 5 assistants!!!
