Oops, we played Texas Pan-American, not Texas, and we win by what 6 points at home. Seriously, no seriously. A 5-6 OOC record doesn't bode well at all for A-10 and I think it will be a big strectch for the Dukes to match the 13 wins from last year. Very fair to question the recruiting talent evaluation by JF and staff in year 3 and certainly their coaching capability. Can anyone honestly believe, as I believe Buckwheat pointed out, that in year 3 of JF we are still starting 2 recruits from the mad scramble first recruiting class. If your subsequent two recruiting classes, when you have ample time to scout and evaluate, are not good enough to unseat anyone remaining from the year 1 rush class then something is wrong. That is a simple fact and is very, very discouraging. And we all are tired of this "were young" bullshit. Lots of teams are young and frankly until tonight Ferry was starting 3 juniors for most of the season and one senior and 3 juniors last game. Bottom line is the caliber of the player and coaching, no more needs to be said. As CLK pointed out on the other Board, look at all the new and "young" players RMU rolled out against us - minus 2 starters!! This season was in the toilet once that debacle took place, followed by an equally embarrassing lose (first in 50 years at home) to St. Francis. Sorry for the negativity, but no one else in my family can understand why I continue to harbor such an irrational belief that things will somehow change so this Board is a nice venue to vent my frustration.
